About Refuge
Refuge Ministries, Inc. was establish in November of 2009. Formerly the After-School Program of Safehouse Ministries, Inc., Refuge branched off to partner with Safehouse and become laser focused on the mission of reaching teenagers with the love of Jesus Christ.
We want to be an extension of Jesus Christ to the world today.
Located in Liberty Township, OH we focus our attention of developing healthy and whole young people that live and live well.
Driven by a team of passionate people, Refuge aims to build relationships with teenagers in order to equip them to become the leaders of tomorrow in their homes, schools, churches, and communities.
A 9,000 square foot building houses video games, recreational activities, computers and a gymnasium where students can play, learn, meet new people, and develop relationships with mentors.
Open 5 days a week from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. we are available for students on a regular basis.
Tutoring programs allow students receive extended academic assistance. Fitness and nutrition programs allow young people to receive valuable discipline to develop a healthy lifestyle.
Counseling is available as needed and a focus on faith allows students to hear and learn more about God and His deep love for us.
While our aim is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, a belief in any particular faith is not an obligation, but rather an option at Refuge. We welcome everybody, just as they are and want to develop deep, lasting relationships with them.
